We at Studentwork are looking for a Licensing Trainee (Legal) for our client Nokia Technologies. The position that we are looking to fill is a part to full-time position with the minimum expectation of 60 % per week and 12 months’ fixed term employment. The trainees may work flexibly up to 100% per week.
In this position the trainee will be working in the Legal team, assisting Nokia legal professionals in various legal and contractual matters, such as non-disclosure agreements, different types of sourcing, purchasing, consultancy, license and patent and IP transaction agreements, and with matters relating to open source software, privacy, and contract management.
We are looking for Law student who has previous experience with working in a legal environment, a genuine interest in technology and an urge to learn more about the industry. Studies in the area of intellectual property rights and contract law are expected, and software engineering or similar studies are appreciated but not mandatory.Nokia Technologies is focused on licensing valuable Nokia intellectual property, including patents, technologies and the Nokia brand. - Close to graduating or, as minimum, at least halfway through your studies in the required field, current Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s student.
- Strong and positive interpersonal skills and a proactive and diligent approach to accomplishing tasks.
- Fluency in both written and oral English and excellent communication skills.
- Strong initiative, analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and tact.
- Flexible attitude and fast learning skills.
- Previous work experience with IP related topics, in the applicable field is a requirement.
