We are looking for

Lead/ Senior Process Design Engineer

to join our team at Neste, in Porvoo and remotely.

In your role you will be part of designing new technologies for the future. In your role you will have opportunities to work closely with R&D, as well as possibilities to find solutions with different stakeholders and vendors. Take part in the opportunity for the refinery transformation by successful process design engineering.

More about the job

Your role in creating a sustainable future

• in the lead role leading process design teams in both domestic and international projects

• participate in all project phases from pre-study and feasibility study via basic engineering to detailed engineering and As Built phase

• engage in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up phases.

• contributing to the development of processes and practices of Process Design discipline

• ensuring effectiveness and continual improvement.

Keys to success in this role

• M.Sc. or equivalent competence in chemical engineering

• 5+ years professional experience in process design in the chemical industry

• ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• in the lead role experience of leading teams

• fluent English language skills.

Other strengths we value

• experience with industrial risk analyses

• experience in process modelling

• Finnish language skills

• experience in industrial waste water treatment.

The position will be located in the Kilpilahti area in Porvoo, Finland. We work where we are most productive and offer flexible opportunities to work remotely. To promote cooperation and the sense of belonging we have agreed on meeting face to face with the team regularly and depending on the project needs.
