We are looking for Lead Product Manager to head the Lifecare Platform product area. The Platform is the core of Lifecare health and social care information systems product portfolio, containing all essential services, applications and APIs which the functional modules in various portfolio verticals are building upon and 3rd party applications and services are also integrated to.

General requirements and responsibilities

As Lead Product Manager you will be responsible for the roadmap, business and market performance of your portfolio. You will manage products through their lifecycles and plan the investments on your area.

Key part of your role will be to actively engage with other product areas and customers to understand their targets and needs, and to define and promote products and solutions to meet them. You will work in close co-operation with technology and architecture management, lead product managers of other product areas, product owners and release train members of your product area, as well as stakeholders in sales, marketing, product development, customer support and delivery projects.

Your key tasks will include

• Business ownership incl. profit & loss responsibility on your product area
• Platform roadmap focusing on delivering customer and portfolio value, supporting portfolio renewal and implementing our technology roadmap
• Product investment plans, make/buy/partner decisions
• Product pricing and business models
• Product lifecycle decisions
• Customer facing sales support incl. active engagement and participation in major sales cases
• Operationally leading and developing the assigned team of product owners
• Steering product family development activities as a business owner

Your profile and background

Your sweet spot is in the cross-section of technology, software product business and organizational leadership.

Your background and expertise

• Experience in working in senior roles in product management, technology management or business management in ICT domain, preferably in large scale software product business.
• Good grasp of modern product management, software development and product lifecycle services principles.
• Sufficient technical capabilities to drive SW development and fact-based decision making related to modern software architectures and concepts such as platform services, data platforms and data models, cloud, APIs and API management.
• Experience in investment planning, financial management, product business models and pricing.
• Experience in working in healthcare, social care or public domain is a plus, as well as experience in working with modern platform based software product portfolios.

You have strong organizational skills, analytical abilities and confidence to make decisions. Your empathy fosters genuine trust and co-operation with your colleagues and customers. You can creatively contribute to strategic and tactical plans and have excellent written, verbal, virtual and face-to-face communication skills in Finnish and in English. Education wise you have a university degree in software engineering, computer science or business management (or equivalent).
