Lead Design Engineer

to join our Process Design Unit team in Porvoo.

As a Lead Design Engineer for our Process Design unit, you will be able to work with some of the most talented engineers in process design engineering. You will be responsible for delivering process design in scope and on time. Global resources, deep technology know-how and high technical skills, along with tight collaboration with project stakeholders, are our advantages when delivering high quality projects.

In your role, you will

  • lead process design teams in both domestic and international projects
  • participate in all project phases from pre-study and feasibility study via basic engineering to detailed engineering and As Built phase
  • engage in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up phases. 

Keys to success among the pioneers

We are looking for a hands-on attitude team player with strong experience in project work in process design in the field of chemical industry.

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

  • M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
  • professional experience in process design in the chemical industry
  •  good communication skills
  • experience of leading teams. 

We also value any of the following

  • experience in process modelling
  • experience with industrial risk analyses.

The recruitment process includes interviews and a personal assessment. The first interviews are preliminarily scheduled to take place during week 40.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent.
