We are looking for a Lead Front-end Developer for Sanoma’s consumer sales solutions to ensure the success of our services, e.g. Tilaa.Sanoma.fi, Oma.Sanoma.fi and Sanoma Account (Sanoma-tili).

As a Lead Developer you will be part of our Consumer Sales Development team and Sanoma's digital transformation. We run development projects, design new technical solutions and lead solution architecture in close co-operation with the business. You are a key player in staying up to speed with the latest technologies providing guidance and insight to the development team. You will also work in close co-operation with architects to ensure the solutions are aligned with our architecture vision.

Our solutions are strongly API and microservice oriented. Our tech stack consists of:
- API Management
- Cloud technologies (AWS and Azure)
- EC2, Elastic Beanstalks, Azure Webapps
- RDS, DynamoDB
- Java
- Node.js
- React

We value
- Experience in public cloud (e.g.  AWS, Azure)
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Experience in Lean / Agile (scrum & kanban) development
- Modern front-end JS development (ES6 and beyond, build tools, UI libraries, modern CSS)
- Functional JavaScript
- UX and accessibility
- Java experience preferred
- Modern cloud development practices (automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English

Additionally we value written and spoken Finnish.
