In your role as laboratory technician, your work will be related to research-scale cultivations. Your main responsibilities would entail the skillful and precise execution of cultivation plans and downstream processing experiments, carrying out analytics with primary result analysis, and diligent documentation of the results. In your work, you need to adhere to our agreed standards and HSE practices. If you have experience in the field of bioprocessing technologies, especially hands-on experience in handling of microbial cultivations and with bioreactors as well using different cell harvesting technologies and devices that is clearly a plus.
Your key qualities include:
- A focus on quality: You are precise, efficient, cooperative, and flexible.
- An analytical understanding based on technical education, preferably laboratory technology, biochemistry, chemistry, or the natural sciences.
- Experience in handling proteins, especially enzymes, is clearly an asset, but not essential.
- The ability to prioritize and organize tasks within the given parameters.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English.
