High growth also means taking big steps forward in our group accounting department, which has now grown to include three teams and over 10 professionals. During the past two years we have completed our IFRS conversion, successfully integrated two acquisitions, made significant progress in streamlining our groupwide processes, accounting model and systems landscape. We have also done much to uplift our internal controls.

We are now looking for an accountant to join our dynamic order to cash team. The order to cash team within our accounting department is responsible for groupwide revenue, accounts receivable, collections and payments.

The preferred location of this position is in the Helsinki metropolitan area, but remote work within Finland is also possible. This position will report to the order to cash accounting team lead.

As an Accountant at M-Files, you will:

• Oversee the monthly services revenue.

• Perform internal controls related to POC (Percentage of Completion/Osatuloutus)-calculation.

• Prepare and analyze payroll-related entries including bonus and commission accruals.

• Carry out Business Finland reporting and audits.

• Prepare and review specifications and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts (tase-erittelyt).

• Take part in preparing our IFRS group financial statements and audit.

• Help us shape our order to cash processes going forward.

• Help us in performing and monitoring already established controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar

• 2-3+ years of relevant work experience in accounting acquired either from a service provider or in an in-house role. But we also greatly value the willingness to learn the needed skills.

• Knowledge of POC-calculation is considered an advantage.

• Fluency in both Finnish and English is a must. Finnish language is required as you will be expected to produce entire sections related to our financial statement in Finnish.

• Proficient in using Excel.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.

• Industry experience from software/technology companies is an advantage.

• Detail and result-oriented, comfortable working in a collaborative setting, and have an eye for continuously automating and improving processes.
