MARKETING & PR MANAGER - KFC

What we expect of you?
As Marketing Manager you are responsible for the launch of KFC brand in Finland. During and after the launch your main responsibility is to drive sales and grow the brand. You are to develop and execute a sales growth strategy and plan incl. brand positioning, marketing calendar and campaigns.
You will take full responsibility of the marketing related activities for the launch. Prior to launch you will gather the required consumer and market insights and execute competition analysis. Based on this you will develop and execute a detailed marketing plan, communication plan and an effective media strategy as well as recruit partners for execution. You will also ensure all digital channels are in place and oversee the content management of these. The planning of the menu and pricing to fit the tastes of the target market is a part of your job.
After the launch you will continue the active development of brand visibility and sales, follow the performance of marketing and communications activities and create new ways of reaching customers. In a few words: you are the one making sure hungry Finns find themselves visiting us time after time.
The perfect candidate is someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the restaurant category in a global or leading FMCG, HORECA or retail brand. This would preferably be your third role as a mid to senior level marketing manager, so that you have proven ability to independently initiate and lead processes. We hope that you have done brand management leading multi-functional teams and using stage-gate process before. Since the entire KFC brand now rests in your hands, we expect you to have successfully and memorably launched a global brand or brands in Finland previously. We appreciate experience managing larger marketing budgets and close relations to Finnish ad and PR agencies.
As a person you must possess serious sales- and business-mindedness and we hope you have the track record to prove it. This position is perfect for someone who is a sharp strategic thinker whilst also being able to tackle things hands-on. In this position you will be working with a lot of people, meeting, presenting and liaising. We hope that you have compelling presentation skills and a love of networking. You must have good leadership skills, team player mentality and a strong will to develop yourself further. Our ideal candidate would be bold in showing initiative but also take responsibility to complete started tasks.
This position requires excellent English language skills, advanced command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to travel. An MBA in Marketing/Market Research/Social Science is desirable.
