Key Account Manager, Respiratory

Your Responsibilities:
The mission of the Key Account Manager (KAM) is to deliver consistent sales growth in the severe asthma area in Finland.

Key responsibilities:
You will be a local product expert to the specialist segment and seek information from customers in order to understand their needs. You will be carrying out sales calls and hit selling targets by using customer approaches that best position GSK products and ensure close cooperation with key customers. This requires daily customer facing activities, strategic thinking and following our patient focussed sales model. You will have responsibility for severe asthma on a national level and must be willing and able to travel throughout the country.

The KAM will create and execute business and account plans in line with activity goals and strategies to deliver sales growth in collaboration with marketing, medical and market access local and Nordic teams. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business. You will continuously monitor the business environment in the district (customers, competitors, others) and take appropriate actions. You will be responsible of the product`s promotional budget in partnership with Therapy Area Lead.

Why You?
Basic qualifications:

  • University degree (Bacherlor or Master level) in relevant field (Science, Medical or Commercial)
  • Sales experience preferably within the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare
  • Ability to discuss scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and business context understanding
  • Ability to strategic thinking, prioritize and co-ordinate several areas of own work under management supervision to meet relevant goals
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English
  • Good planning and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Results oriented and Entrepreneurial, “can do” attitude

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience from working in a multi-national business environment and cross-functional teams
• Previous experience from working with respiratory therapy area or with the speciality care doctors
• Former experience working with HUS organization
