We are currently looking for a new Key Account Manager to join the Consumer Business Group and the Office/Retail Channel (“CBG”).

 

CBG Office & Retail is a ‘true’ market focused business.  The external market is dynamic and changing which continues to offer and create exciting opportunities for 3M.

 

We have an extremely strong brand as Post-it and Scotch and market presence in these channels, and we are providing profitable growth with an impressive ability to commercialize new products rapidly.

 

Within CBG Nordic we have a consumer focused, passionate, knowledgeable and driven sales team who makes a difference. 

 

We add value to our customers and stakeholders in the consumer market due to our people and their application, process and business knowledge, our innovative new products, the breadth of our portfolio, our brand and the channel partners we are aligned to.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

- Responsible to drive the accounts in day to day business, implement trade activation, set the local assortment and negotiate common business terms

- Achieve sales objectives by providing independent sales coverage of assigned accounts or within assigned territory. Position intended for individuals experienced in sales and who have demonstrated effective use of selling skills and have consistently achieved or exceeded forecast over a sustained period of time. Primarily, manages sales territory with remote supervision and assistance. 

- Grow the consumer business in assigned accounts

- Local responsibility of our key accounts and channel partners in conjunction with the Nordic Regional sales Manager

- Be a proactive participant and contributor to the CBG Business Group

 

Skills, Experience and Key Capabilities

- Business related degree preferable but not essential 

- Previous sales experience including a proven track-record in sales and/or key account Management 

- Proactive can do and will do attitude

- Passion and determination to make a difference

- Dynamic individual with a track record of delivering results

- Numerate with  IT skills (especially Excel)

- Highly self-motivated and resilient team player

- Proven ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at multiple levels including refined negotiation skills

- Strategic and analytical thinker with a high attention to detail

- Proven key account skills and relationship builder

- A proven ability to influence, challenge, demonstrate credibility and authority, whilst building relationships at multiple levels

- Acts with uncompromising honesty, integrity and professional ethics

- Excellent written and oral Finnish and English skills
