NEOT, a compact but highly knowledgeable fuel supply and logistics company, is now looking for a Junior Controller to join their Business and Stock Control (BSC) team! As a Junior Controller you’ll get a unique chance to learn and develop your skills with the aim of taking over a wider range of responsibilities in the short/mid-term.
The BSC team of 6 people has a diverse range of responsibilities. The team’s main role is to control and value inventories, control and report biofuel mandates, excise taxes and other authority reporting, report monthly operative results as well as conclude monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders. As a Junior Controller your main responsibility is to support the controlling of the Swedish Inventories and related operations.
More specifically you’ll be working with tasks such as:
- Stock accounting of Swedish inventories
- Month end reconciliations and inventory valuations
- Calculating refinery production and invoicing
- Invoicing
- Authority reporting
- Updating and reporting daily prices
- Updating price formulas
- Developing processes and tools / systems
As you’ll be working with different kinds of stakeholders as well as part of a team, you need to have excellent communication and cooperation skills. Your work also requires a precise, independent and proactive working style. We expect you to have:
- A relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree (e.g., accounting, finance) or ongoing studies (we hope you are close to graduation)
- Some relevant work experience, for example through summer jobs or internships
- Good Excel skills and ability to learn new systems with ease
- A full working proficiency in English
- An analytical mindset, good communication skills and a drive to learn and grasp issues in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and permanent position in which you will be employed directly to NEOT. The ideal starting date for the position is as soon as possible. The role will be located in Kamppi, Helsinki, with a possibility to work remotely part of the week. The role also requires occasional traveling to Sweden. The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. In addition, a security clearance inspection will be done for the chosen candidate.
