We are now looking for Junior Controller or Controller, Bad Debt Management to join our Bad Debt Management team for one permanent position and one fixed - term position in Tampere, Finland.

What you will do
Be responsible for managing the bad debt handling processes such as insolvency and legal collection processes in close collaboration with UPM businesses, collection agencies and legal experts globally
Deliver high-quality bad debt bookings and reporting in a timely manner and ensure compliance in own responsibility area
Process trade credit insurance claims and participate in communicating with the broker and the insurer
Contribute proactively to improvement ideas and participate in process and tools development projects
Communicate and co-operate actively and in an effective manner with our internal and external stakeholders worldwide
Who you are
You have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration, business law or similar relevant studies
You have preferably 1-3 years of relevant work experience related to the bad debt management process area, especially in legal collection and insolvency handling related tasks, or for a Junior Controller position a genuine interest to grow to be an expert in this area
You know accounting principles well and can provide accurate work quality in booking and reporting tasks
You are fluent in English, other languages are an asset
You have analytical, detail-oriented mindset and an ability to solve problems independently with good time management skills
You have great collaboration, communication and team working skills
You are proactive, motivated to learn, take initiative and can easily adapt to new situations

We are looking for one candidate to join us on a permanent contract and one candidate on a one - year fixed - term contract.
