Your essential duties and responsibilities
Until the end of 2021, as a Junior Category Manager for our Food and Treats & Snacks business, your main purpose is to create sustainable category growth with our customers and to position Mars as preferred strategic partner/category captain within the Food and Treats & Snacks categories. You will drive the category agenda with our customers, through industry leading solutions and in-store execution.
You are also responsible for implementing and localising our category vision and category growth drivers with strategic customers and through collaborative partnership, leveraging the long-term category growth plan. The focus will be on delivering the category management processes, best practice approach and tools in line with Mars North Europe’s strategies and growth ambitions in close co-operation with the local sales team, marketing and customer marketing teams in the North Europe cluster.
From January 2022, as a Junior Key Account Manager, your main purpose is to maximise customer engagement by winning ‘heart & minds’ of the customer. You will drive category growth and secure profitable growth for both the customer and Mars, increase market share and work together with our distributor to successfully drive and expand our Gum business in Finland. You will also work towards new RTM solutions and new potential customers with strong prioritisation and focus on return on investment, whilst ensuring you execute plans in accordance with Mars overall category and brand strategies.
