As one of the biggest software development companies in Finland we need IT oriented Recruiters to enhance the existing skillful recruitment team. That is why we are now looking for experienced IT / Tech Recruiters to join our in-house recruitment team. The need for tech professionals is vast and you as an IT recruiter have a huge impact on that.  


  • You will qualify each open position you are given carefully and thoroughly with each hiring manager and/or Tech Lead/IT Area Lead, so that you understand clearly what the job is and what is needed to succeed on the job. 
  • You will get to know the tribes and teams so you can intelligently describe that team’s cohesive element to prospective candidates. 
  • You will proactively search for IT talents of all levels, in both Finland and abroad, to build long term relationships with them and market OP to them as an incredible place to work (build your pipeline). 
  • You will react to job applicants who apply to OP from Finland, and abroad. 
  • You will manage the overall candidate experience from start to finish, as you take each candidate through one of the most positive candidate experiences they will ever have. 
  • You will network with OP employees beyond the team(s) you already know, getting to know them at lunch, during coffee time and randomly in the halls of our beautiful campus, with the objective being to learn what it means to work for OP. Once you have mastered that, you will live and breathe that essence to the local Talent Communities honestly and creatively sharing our cohesive element with your budding network and pipeline of candidates.  
  • You will quickly learn to speak the language of OP R&D, fluidly rattling off the products we build, the technologies we use, the methodologies we use, in an effort to reinforce what you have learned about our Employer Brand as you tell the world about us. 
  • You will network outside of OP at technical forums and events, representing OP as an Ambassador so people know what kind of company we are building, and who to get in touch with when they are ready to consider switching jobs. 
  • You will master the art of creative marketing on all channels, colorfully enticing all technical experts in Finland with your creative prose and attractive description of what it’s like to work at OP.   

What you need to excel 

  • Experience in doing most of the above! 
  • Practical experience OR genuine interest in technology  
  • You can handle objections and problems and issues without breaking a sweat (in normal life). This is merely to highlight that we as good recruiters are fearless when it comes to speaking to anyone, about anything, always, because we have what some people call, a ‘sales personality’ 
  • People generally like you, and trust you  
  • Strong and intelligent sense of humor  
  • Excellent communication skills, in Finnish and English 
  • Capability of managing and organizing your work efficiently 
  • Strong network of IT talents in Finland 
  • Experience in using social media for search
