We are looking for a service minded problem solver to work as an IT Support Coordinator & Technician

As an in-house IT Coordinator you will have a dual role and you'll work as a part of a Nordic IT virtual team. Your day to day tasks involve acting as remote support to in-house clients revolving around IT problems of all levels. Your 'client base' can range from drivers to mechanics to leadership staff thus you should have the ability to understand issues from novice users to advanced IT professionals. You will work with Windows/365/iOS platforms on a daily basis. Your tasks also may include liaising with clients, other IT support groups and 3rd party providers when necessary and coordinate spare asset inventory maintains and asset management for all devices. Good communication skills and a curious mindset are what help you to succeed in the role.

The other half of the role is to work as a field technician of sorts. You will be required to travel to our Tikkakoski plant on average one to two times per month to install, update and maintain the servers and other ICT hardware. These trips may involve other support tasks as well and the target is for you to become the 'project owner' for the Tikkakoski plant and its daily ICT support needs. Cloud computing software knowledge is not required but knowledge and understanding about routers, servers and network hardware in general is a 'must have'. Due to the location of the plant it is necessary for you to have the use of your own car or at least possess a valid driver's license.

The role is not classified as 'senior' but some prior experience is considered an advantage but first and foremost we want desire to learn and a brave attitude to question the norm; we think curiosity is a virtue. You do not see problems but solutions. Finnish and English are equally important as working languages in both written and spoken forms. Skills in any other Nordic language would be a huge bonus.

The role is permanent, working hours are 'normal office hours' and remote work is pretty much the norm and the head office is located in Leppävaara, Espoo. Depending on your capabilities, you can also live around Jyväskylä or for example the Lahti region.
