Are you passionate about IT and manufacturing environments? We are looking for a Production IT Service Manager to join our group IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of manufacturing related IT systems to meet agreed business requirements and needs. You ensure that our services run reliable, are supported in agreed level and comply with group IT architecture and security. Within our group IT team, you are a key stakeholder to build, implement & support the manufacturing related processes. You will focus mainly on the manufacturing processes within our coffee division, and work on group projects.

As manufacturing IT systems are supporting the core of our business operations, and have the highest level of criticality, we are looking for a strong and experienced candidate who can lead this track. Within the division, you as production IT Service Manager, are the key single point of contact of manufacturing IT services which contribute to Paulig’s success.

As IT Service Manager, you have the overall responsibility of agreed IT services to contribute to Paulig success. The services are IT tools supporting production processes, eg. MES, OEE and maintenance systems. You have a broad responsibility area in which you have the possibility to influence greatly. This is a permanent position and located in our head office and roastery in Vuosaari, Helsinki. Your manager is located in Belgium and your colleagues in Production IT Service Management team are located in Sweden, Russia and Belgium. The role is a good match for someone who likes independent way of working and enjoys being part of an international remote team.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • You have accountability for the applications in scope. This with regards to roadmaps, ongoing projects, as well as day-to-day operations.
  • You make sure your scope is in line with business and IT strategy
  • You lead projects from feasibility study to closure
  • You guarantee a qualitative delivery in line with agreed timing and budget
  • You make an aftercare structure available for your project
  • You define a solution for a business problem, this together with your team members, and other supporting people or services.
  • You work in close cooperation with different people (like key users, project members and management) to analyze the business requirements in scope and to translate them into IT solutions that can be developed or implemented
  • Understanding the business processes is crucial in this role. In this function you will report regularly on different levels within the organization. Hence, you will have both operational and budgetary responsibilities.

What we appreciate:

  • +5 years of experience in change, release and project management and service level management
    +3 years of experience in the domain of supply chain or manufacturing
    Good communications skills as you also need to interact with business stakeholders and suppliers
  • Knowledge of shopfloor-, MES-, OEE- or maintenance systems
  • Interest and knowledge about IoT and Industry 4.0 is an asset
  • Understanding of production control systems and communication principles (Siemens PLC).
  • Understanding of IT industry in general
  • ITIL foundation knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills and structured way of working
  • Great interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
