Interoperability lead

In BeeHealthy's software development team we develop services for expert users as well as for our end customers -patients. Our interoperability team is responsible for developing integration solutions that are scalable for our customers; the team is not big yet but we all know that good things come in small packages.

You will be in key role to ensure that BeeHealthy is the winning interoperable solution that can be implemented with any electronic medical record system and making sure that integrations and related use cases meet the customer needs and scale as much as possible across customers. Most importantly you will have overall responsibility for integration related customer deliveries.

As an Interoperability lead you will be leading the integration discussions with our customers, leading the team work including team weeklies and taking hiring & supervisor responsibility. Excelling in this role requires close collaboration with different stakeholders: customers, internal team including integration architect to manage the team in addition to close collaboration and communication with other internal stakeholders like customer and product teams. Essential part of this role includes mastering the industry best practices and Mehiläinen benchmark to optimize customer business processes and help making justified decisions for integrations.

To be successful you’ll need to be the initiator and responsible for the detailed architectural and environmental definition and documentation of the platform. We highly value someone with a great attitude: we work with important themes with a can-do approach as well as good humor.

In addition to this the role means in practice:

• Define the integration needs and use cases with customer
• Conducting customer meetings / workshops / weekly status meetings to come up with definitions and follow up the progress
• Documentation and producing of necessary materials with the team to get the job done
• Follow up the progress / solve bottle necks when needed and ensure timely delivery
• Make sure that integration architect is able to translate specifications into actionable development plan and execute together with the team
• Proactive development of integration capability for competitive edge and product ownership about integration related use cases
• Considering options for scaling together with lead developer and tech lead à customer specific implementation vs. standard
• Follow and consult the data privacy and compliance requirements so that the solutions are planned to be compliant
• Sales support – interoperability is one of the key areas for our sales effort

Required Skills:

• Strong track record of leading technical and infrastructure requirements definition for cross-functional integration initiatives
• Self-motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction and has an innate work ethic to produce outstanding work products
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical specifications to a non-technical audience and translate process experts’ requirements into technical specifications
• Ability to understand business process flows and value stream maps and design applications to drive process efficiency and simplicity
• Ability to collaborate with teams to perform a market assessment of new automation, analytics, and application capabilities
• Knowledge of a comprehensive set of software development tools, no development skills required, considered additional advantage
• Fluency in English - Knowledge of Finnish is preferred
