About the role
In this role, you are responsible for maintaining and developing internal communication in an organization that has a true focus on this area. You will produce communication material such as intranet articles, videos, etc. to your colleagues in Finland and other Nordic countries. The role is broad and also includes communication planning and advising.
You work is to ensure that our employees are well informed and enable a communicative organization. The internal communication has a key role in strengthening our corporate culture and making sure that our employees are engaged and act as natural ambassadors for our brand.
About the team
Our team has a Nordic set up to ensure cross border collaboration and deliveries, but parts of our projects and tasks are also carried out locally in each market. The team currently consists of eight people of which two, including this position, are based in Finland. Your team will support you to succeed and encourage you in your development journey in If.
Besides working with your colleagues in the Internal Communications team you will work close to HR, management and the business units within If. We also cooperate with the External Communications team at If around our many common focus areas. On larger internal communications projects we work together with If’s in-house agency IfCA.
Who are you?
You have a true passion for internal communications, employee engagement and culture building. Driven, professional and efficient with an ability to get things done are traits that describe you. In addition, you are a team player with a positive attitude, a creative mindset and strong relationship building skills.
You also have:
- University degree in Communications or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience and interest in both strategic and operational internal communications tasks.
- Excellent communication and writing skills as well as the ability to make the complex easy, see the recipient's point of view and create engaging and value-added communication in Finnish.
- Fluency in English. In addition, Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
