We are looking for an
Innovation Portfolio Manager
to join our Innovation Excellence unit, Portfolio and Program Management team in Porvoo.

In your role, you will
• Manage and coordinate the Innovation project portfolio planning activities, approvals, reporting, auditing and changes into the portfolio
• Provide project managers with assistance and facilitation in carrying out the necessary process steps with high quality
• Develop Innovation project and portfolio capabilities, processes, tools and metrics
We have high new ambitions in Innovation. Our portfolio is growing, our projects are more versatile than earlier, we want to keep up with digitalization and thus we want to step to a new level in managing our portfolio. You will be part of our Innovation portfolio and program management team and work together with all our project managers and line managers. You will also have an important role in developing the processes to support our Innovation ambition and to ensure efficiency and success in the growing portfolio.
Keys to success in this role
The best combination of experience, skills and background is
• Master’s degree or higher education in Industrial Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Research or Innovation portfolio management and understanding the connection from Innovation to business benefits
• Analytical mindset and structured way of working
• Positive attitude and capability for coaching people in following and succeeding in portfolio processes
• Capability to communicate clearly and fit for the audience verbally and in writing
• Fluent English
We also value
• Experience in industry, preferably in process industry or energy sector
• Experience in building and implementing stage-gate methodology

In your position, you will work primarily at Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo but also at our headquarters in Keilaranta, Espoo. Kilpilahti is ca. 40 minutes away from Helsinki city center by car. We arrange convenient bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from Helsinki, Porvoo and the surrounding areas.

The recruitment process includes interviews and aptitude testing. The first interviews are preliminary scheduled to take place on week 7.
