Main activities and responsibilities:

Your main task within this role is to secure a fast and qualitative parts and technical support to our Industrial Customers in the Nordic countries.

  • Responsible for the ordering process supporting the OEM customers during ordering and delivery of parts.
  • Keep track on parts numbers, prices and OEM purchase contacts.
  • Along with IT department, ensure the set up and maintenance of user accounts and rights for the relevant users are up and running.
  • Train and educate OEM customers to use Volvo Penta Parts order systems.
  • Logistical system support, ensuring the OEMs can place order of parts using Volvo Penta part numbers/references vs own parts system.
  • Handle issues with logistics and represent the department on relevant forum meetings for process improvements.
  • Able to respond and handle technical inquiries in relation to the parts and the components for the different applications, and work on the technical support issues together with the Industrial Service Engineers in the Finnish and Swedish organizations.
  • Understand the warranty process and to guide and train our OEM customers to use the warranty systems appropriately.
  • Validation of warranty cases and quality follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Industrial Sales teams visiting customers to understand the complete picture of the installation and the customer demands.
  • Support on developing marketing material.

You will be a part of a great global Volvo Penta team and work in close cooperation with colleagues within many other functions, areas and countries. You will travel 20-50 days per year. 

Required knowledge, experience and qualities:

  • Technical and/or economical training (intermediate level) or gained equivalent experience.
  • Spoken languages: Fluent in Finnish and English. Swedish language capabilities good to have.
  • Good skills on MS Office (MS Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good understanding on technical wholesales operations and service aftermarket concepts.
  • A passion for technical solutions and strong analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Speaking technical language is easy for you.
  • Drivers licence is required.
