We are looking for an Industrial Engineering Manager in Tampere.
As an Industrial Engineering Manager your main responsibilities are to participate in and supervise new product introduction to production, manufacturing layout improvement, process and methodology development, and other development activities in order to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Industrial Engineering Manager ensures that all the assigned projects and targets are met in given framework.
To Succeed
You have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- ability to work on multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time. This requires good insight on prioritizing, goal-driven mindset, and creating clear roadmap for coming activities.
- ability to analyze, understand and implement concepts to product and production system.
- experience in working in multi-stakeholder environment. The main stakeholders are production, engineering and procurement.
- ability to work on high level assignments as well as on shop floor activities.
- good communication skills.
- a positive can-do-attitude, and to see opportunities instead of obstacles.
- ability to justify the suggested improvement projects/tasks by facts.
- +5 years’ experience in similar industry, and preferably MSc (in Mechanical Engineering) as educational background. Good knowledge concerning mechanical assembly, hydraulics, electrics and automation.
- knowledge in ERP, PLM and MES.
- fluent Finnish and English
