IKEA Service Office is now looking for a task driven and people focused Range & Purchase Manager for IKEA Food

In this position you will…

Be responsible for food range matrix, range requirements, food range for IKEA co-workers and food range competence. You will act as a commercial business partner, lead and coach in order to optimise and develop the IKEA Retail Food business, considering the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance and people and planet positive in all IKEA touchpoints as well as promoting IKEA as a great place to work.  
Your working hours will be filled with…
  • Developing the local food range
  • Securing range requirements, including ingredient and nutrition information
  • Developing a healthy and nutritious food range for IKEA co-workers
  • Securing that all IKEA Food products are compliant based on IKEA requirements.
  • Ensuring completion, implementation and follow up of the food range matrix in all touchpoints.
  • Leading the sales and supply planning process 
  • Finding and acting quickly on commercial opportunities, customer feedback, competition, and other opportunities from range perspective.
  • Contributing to the development of IKEA Retail Food
What we expect from you
  • Experience and knowledge on range development principles. 
  • Advanced operations knowledge and an understanding of how it supports the business agenda.
  • Experience of working in a complex international environment with matrix responsibilities, preferably within the food industry/business.
  • Great track record of working at a senior level and in a management role
  • Great knowledge and interest in the market and the local business conditions relating to range development.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and verbal.
