ICT Support in I3, ECHA, Helsinki
ECHAWe are looking for a full-time interim for ICT Support for a short term project together with our client European Chemicals Agency ECHA. Please note that working language is English.
The jobholder will undertake an active role in several tasks related to the support of the IT Service Management function for EUCLEF (European Union Chemicals Legislation Finder) including playing a central part in coordinating and smoothly executing related IT maintenance activities, e.g. implementation and delivery of changes, enhancements, as well as further integration with other systems.
The job starts as soon as possible and ends 30.06.2023
Main duties:
- Coordinate the Q&A Service of the Agency according to WIN-155
- Coordinate activities related to the redesign of the Support page of the ECHA website
- Provide 1st level support on incidents linked to ECHA’s IT tools and applications
- Monitor cases investigated by the contractor, participate in Service Desk activities and CAB meetings
- Contribute to the development of the iTEX knowledge base
- Run the secretary work of A2
What we expect from you:
- Education: post-secondary or university degree
- Professional experience: experience as helpdesk officer and with ECHA IT tools
- Ability to take responsibility for specific areas of work and see actions through to completion ensuring that the deadlines are met
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word and Excel)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude for team work as well as cooperative and customer-oriented attitude
- Good English skills both written and spoken (as this is the working language of the Agency).
