We are strengthening our Information and Communication Technology team with

ICT Manager, Cloud Infrastructure services

This position has key role in Tikkurila Group ICT cloud strategy and part of ICT Core Services domain. It’s focuses on running Modern Datacenter and Cloud Infrastructure services as well as development and implementation of multi-cloud architectures, platforms and solutions. The position involves leading international team of professionals and subcontractors to ensure the highest standard of service delivery and meet the ever-changing business demands across Tikkurila Group in all countries where it operates. 

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Manage Datacenter and Cloud Infrastructure services incl. Computing, Storage, Database, Networking, Identity and other workloads delivery and support that are built on top of Microsoft Azure and other platforms

  • Ensure day-to-day service availability, performance and security as per SLA and business demands

  • Lead technical architecture design for new solutions and setups as well as development and optimization of existing ones in order to meet operational requirements and development roadmap

  • Initiate and lead development projects within Cloud Infrastructure area

  • Mentor and manage Cloud Infrastructure team daily operations, performance and key competencies development

  • Manage service providers and external resources to ensure agreed service levels and budget objectives are met

  • Coordinate critical incidents from Cloud Infrastructure end, tightly cooperate and join efforts with other teams for incident soonest remediation

  • Participate in disaster recovery procedures and business continuity plans development and updating

  • Participate in solution roadmap development in cooperation with other teams and stakeholders

  • Partner with other team leaders across the Tikkurila ICT organization, ensuring strong partnerships around end to 

  • End processes where multiple teams are engaged

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Datacenter and Cloud Infrastructure solutions, architectures, best practices and trends across the market and major vendors roadmaps

  • Oversee on-site support services in Finland HQ office and assure their quality

    To succeed in this role, you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, math, telecommunications or equivalent education

  • At least 7 years of overall IT experience working with complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support                     

  • Hands-on technology experience with strong organizational and project management skills

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft technologies and cloud services incl. Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Hyper-V, Azure and others, DBA and DevOps experience will be a plus

  • Solid knowledge and proven work experience with network technologies related to server communications

  • Ability to balance competing demands for resources and adapt to changing priorities

  • Excellent problem resolution, judgment, planning, and decision-making skills

  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills

  • Keen to study new technologies and strive and help others to achieve more

  • Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM foundation

  • Capable and willing to work in multinational corporate environment

  • Fluent written and oral English

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

  • This position requires seldom travelling
