Stora Enso’s Finnish Learning team is responsible for delivering Learning services for our Finnish units. We cater for all the learning demands in the different units in Finland, are responsible for the local vendor agreements and learning framework implementation. We belong to the Shared Service Center (i.e. funded by SLA) and report to the Group HR Leadership-Talent-Organizational Development and Learning team.

Our Group HR & Shared Service Center is looking for a HRD Manager to be responsible for Learning in Finland. We are looking for someone with a strong drive to provide positive learning experiences and to enhance the global cooperation.

Description

There is a big need to continue to support the competence development in many of the Finnish units as well as to build a learning culture across Stora Enso. This role provides a unique opportunity to take a next step in building a global learning organization together with the Leadership-Talent-Organizational Development and Learning team.

In this role you are responsible for:

  • Proactive provisioning of learning and training activities for the units in Finland as per SLA.
  • Delivering trainings for all Finnish units together with the Finnish HR shared service team in a close cooperation with trainers and managers
  • Handling the agreements with vendors making sure the quality of the trainings delivered stays high
  • Participating in needed country level training and development committees such as the Finnish Forest Industry committee
  • Helping units to organize training programs such as apprenticeship programs
  • Sourcing for suppliers for specific training requirements
  • Communicating about training possibilities and working in close co-operation with business HR and managers.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is a positive, proactive, self-motivated and outgoing personality who would like to work in an awesome team and who is able to drive things alone as well. We would like to see someone who has interest in the learning area and who can further strengthen the learning experience in the Finnish units. The person appointed will be working also to support the global learning process development.

You should have the following skills and competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resource Development -area.
  • Understanding of the process technology industry and the needed basic skills/qualifications on the area.
  • Process-oriented, organized way of working and the ability to work with data.
  • System knowledge, preferably working experience with SAP/ SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (verbal and written) is a must, ability to work in Swedish beneficial.
