Paulig is looking for a detail-oriented HR Partner who excels in a structured environment and is passionate about optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong process-oriented mindset and proactive enthusiasm for enhancing routines. We seek someone who enjoys following processes, is precise and at the same time capable of understanding overall objectives of the business and people and culture function.
In this role, the HR Partner will actively participate in day-to-day employment lifecycle actions and monthly people processes cycles. You will take the initiative in driving HR activities forward, identifying and resolving employee relations issues directly or through advice to line management. Salary administration tasks will be part of your responsibilities, along with providing guidance on employee salaries. Additionally, you will support the preparation of HR-related documentation, ensuring data quality and compliance with labor laws and regulations. You are also involved in supervising relevant third-party providers, such as payroll and time & attendance partner.
You will be supporting the leaders and employees in assigned organisations and identifying and resolving employee relations issues directly or through advice to line management. You are driving both group-wide and local HR activities forward as a part of the Finland and Baltics HR Services team. You are also participating in negotiations with employee representatives, and contributing to reporting requirements and process improvement initiatives.

Work tasks
- Ensures that monthly people processes run smoothly in Finland
- Ensures correct calculation of payroll and in-time payment of salaries
- Supervises relevant 3rd party providers such as payroll service provider
- Participate in negotiations with employee representatives
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations at the location
- Partners with managers and People & Culture community to support in HR related topics.
- Participates to the day-to-day employment lifecycle actions (hiring, changes, terminations etc)
- Investigates and resolves day to day employee relation problems, either directly or through advice to line management
- May participate to recruitment, discussing staffing needs with managers, screening applications and conducting interviews
- Participates to career development issues, discussing career paths with managers and recommending suitable candidates for promotions
- Provision of advice to managers on the salaries of the employees.
- Supports in implementation, training and administration of personnel policies, practices, processes and supplementary programs at the location
We are looking for
- Relevant educational background
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (HR management)
- Experience with collective agreements, payroll administration, work time documentation and shift work environments.
- Fluent proficiency in Finnish and English.
Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
