Human Resources at Neste drive value-based culture and leadership, excellence and renewal of our people. To achieve this vision, we are developing our HR organization and as part of this, we have created new HR roles, including this opportunity for an HR Manager in Neste Innovation HR team.

We are looking for an

HR Manager

to join our Innovation HR team in Porvoo or Espoo, Finland.

In this role, you will support your dedicated Innovation teams while implementing some new ways of working within HR. Neste is built on innovation. Our Innovation teams explore new raw materials and solutions in bio and circular economy and rigorously test their viability for industrial scale production. The joint mission is to find the fastest routes towards a healthier planet.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

• Support Neste Innovation teams and managers primarily in Porvoo but with growing international coverage in a wide range of HR topics focusing on growth and recruitments, capability development, and employment and labour law questions
• Enable growth and drive change aligned to strategy: participate in HR projects in Neste Innovation and facilitate development projects and workshops based on business needs
• You have the opportunity to own and drive HR topics on Neste Innovation level in areas you are especially passionate about, be it for example employer branding, feedback culture or well-being, to enable the whole Neste Innovation people agenda
• Provide full employee life-cycle service together with specialized Employment and Recruitment hubs to our managers and employees, according to local law, collective agreements, and common practices and HR & Safety policies
• Cooperate daily with managers to coach, solve and facilitate HR related topics

You will work closely with our Innovation teams and managers as well as HR colleagues and HR hubs. You will report to Head of HR, Innovation.

The best combination to success in this role

• Proven track record of facilitating, managing and developing people related topics in a role of business HR to enable an organization to reach its targets
• Good understanding of HR processes and practices as well as employment legislation & collective agreements
• Degree in human resources, business or similar studies
• Passion for people excellence and professional human resource management
• Fluency in spoken and written English & Finnish
