HR Manager, Finland
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager, Finland to join Oras Group´s HR team.
In this role you will play a key role in setting and implementing Oras Group people agenda by ensuring that we have the right capabilities, talent, culture and leadership to support the development and growth of Oras Group. In practice you will continuously strive to improve the attractiveness of Oras Group as an employer and ensure the efficiency and legal compliance of HR processes throughout the employee life cycle.
Basic information
Location: This position is based in Rauma (Isometsäntie 2)
Hybrid working model: minimum 3 days in the office, 2 days can be remote
Travelling: Limited travelling included
Permanent, full-time role
Organization
In this role, you will report to Outi Sortino (CHRO) and will be part of Oras Group HR management team. You will lead a team of two HR Specialists based in Finland.
Key responsibilities
As part of the group HRMT responsible for setting the Group HR agenda and implementing it
Setting the overall people agenda and focus areas short and long term
Contributing to common initiatives (such as leadership and culture development), common processes (such as performance and talent) and practice (such as compensation principles)
Taking ownership of some common topics as subject matter expert (e.g. GDPR, sustainability, compensation, performance & talent, learning)
In the role of HR Manager Finland
Overall responsibility for local HR service within the country
Recruitment (of all positions below functional management team level)
Employer branding and school/university cooperation and other stakeholder cooperation
Labor relations, including necessary negotiations with unions and cooperation with the employee representatives
Local compensation and benefits management, pay structures, bonuses etc.
Competence management of blue-collar workers and other country specific needs
HR administration within country: data management, contracts, policies and guidelines
Occupational health management within country
Responsible for compliance and legal requirements of local HR practices and maintenance of required certificates and standards
Leading a team of HR specialists, ensuring staffing and competence
HRBP for the local management team in Rauma (and possibly for a group function such as product management of supply chain):
Long term capability building, workforce planning and following up together with the management
Talent management and development by ensuring solid succession planning and talent development plans
Leadership development mainly by following through on our existing processes such as annual employee survey, 360 feedback as well as individual approaches from time to time
Support the organization in organization design and change management
Provide expertise in compensation and benefits, such as job grading and market data, oversees salary review processes for white collars
Coaching managers in leadership situations, exist etc.
Who we are looking for
Relevant higher degree (bachelor or master)
Several years of experience in applying labor law and labor relations practices in an industrial environment (including blue and white collar workers)
Subject matter expert in performance, talent, compensation or similar that can be utilized on group level
Excellent coaching and facilitation skills as well as ability to train and communicate effectively
Ability to support local managers with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect
Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish.
