HR Business Partner, Finland

We are looking for senior level HR Business partner for Finland, having full responsibility of country level HR responsibilities.

This position reports to HR Director, Northern Europe. His / Her direct reports are; HR assistant, HR specialist, Payroll specialist, Training coordinator.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • As partner to ensure the organizational ability to perform, including competence development that makes it possible to realize the strategy in JELD-WEN Northern Europe. 
  • As HR Partner to support the development of the Finnish management team and management at all levels. 
  • As change agent to facilitate the necessary and decided changes 
  • As business partner to strive for high employee motivation through supporting managers in their leadership role.
  • As HR partner to JELD-WEN Northern Europe to support the implementation the JELD-WEN long range plans, policies and procedures.
  • As HR partner to be gatekeeper for all HR related procedures are fulfilled Comply with Policies & Procedures and SOX regulation.


Professional qualifications

  • Min. BA preferably within HR, Social Science or law or equivalent preferably combined with line managerial experience.
  • Thorough experience with recruitment, management training and sparring, HR law, collective agreements, organizational development, employee motivation and performance behaviour, talent management and basic HR processes/tools.
  • Language: English at business level and local language
  • IT: MS Office as a daily user
  • Financial understanding
  • Understanding of international cultures

  • You are used to working in an international, fast paced environment with many various stakeholders and are able to keep focus on the essential in projects and deliveries
  • You have an interpersonal skillset based on trustworthiness, building relations, influencing and balancing situations with stakeholders knowing when to say ”yes, but no”.
  • It is important that you are passionate and ambitious - with a smiling face and able to take initiative and deliver results.
  • Structure and robustness to cope with the dynamic work and work pace is key, as well as your ability to turn complexity into simplicity in the deliveries, communication etc.
  • Finally – you enjoy working with people!


In Finland there are preferably 2 possible main locations: Kuopio or Vääksy (Lahti) and the HR Business Partner will

visit all 5 sites.


Up to 30 days in Northern Europe.
