Head of Supplier Qualification

Description of position

We are looking for a person to work as the Head of Supplier Qualifications in Quality System (QS) organization. Your responsibility is to lead the Supplier Qualification Team and to assure that we have timely qualified suppliers. You will also conduct audits and other core tasks as needed. You will have the overall responsibility for the supplier qualification performance by continuously developing the processes.

Location: Espoo, Turku or Kuopio

Description of unit

Supplier Qualification team belongs to Quality System, which is part of the Quality Management organization. The responsibility of Quality System is to manage, maintain and develop Company’s quality level. In our responsibilities belong Supplier Qualifications, Quality Agreements, Technical QA, Computerized System QA, GxP Training, Inspections, Compliance follow-up, ISO13485 responsibilities and regulatory guidance follow-up.

Requirements

• University degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry or similar


• Capability of leading and developing your team of supplier qualification professionals


• Experience in quality management in pharmaceutical industry


• Competence in GMP, GDP and also Medical Devices.


• Familiarity with processes of production, quality control and quality assurance in pharma industry


• Readiness to travel abroad and in Finland


• Fluent oral and written English and Finnish language skills


• Fluent IT skills and knowledge of IT systems


• Proactiveness, exactness and orderliness


• Stress tolerance


• Capability to handle simultaneous tasks


• Capability to work independently


• Capability to work as an active member of the team sharing responsibilities and driving continuous development.
