As the current position holder rotates to a new position in Posti, we are looking for a new

Head of Proposal Management and Pricing, Parcel Services

To ensure profitable growth and processes of pricing, proposal and agreement management in parcel services.

Main responsibilities

Pricing

  • Pricing process development, defining pricing principles and pricing strategy
  • Pricing model development & creation of new models in alignment with customer requirements & segments
  • Overall price, profitability and risk analysis in customers cases (incl cross BU cases)
  • Price list management and market analysis through benchmarking
  • Production cost analysis

Proposals and sales support

  • Coordination of bigger business cases, business case calculations (incl. international) and sales support
  • Cross BU/Parcel and Logistics Services case profitability analysis, recommendations & coordination + pricing within agreed frame
  • Development of tendering process and templates
  • Contract life cycle management capability creation
  • Account management of nominated customers together with sales

As an ideal candidate for the position, we appreciate you having a solid experience/understanding in several of the following areas: Understanding of operational and pricing processes, understanding of agreement management, deep knowledge of logistics services and logistic services available on market, customer business understanding, fluent Finnish and English language skills, verbal and written, Excellent Excel and Powerpoint

You have a central role in the Parcel Services team and manage a team of 3 Proposal Managers You are an experienced and inspirational leader who promotes Posti service culture in your own leadership and in customer interface.

You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in applicable sciences, a solid working track record.
