Head of ICT, Metsä Fibre

to join the Group ICT, Business Relationship team

What do you get to do?

In this role you will have full ICT management responsibility of Metsä Fibre ICT. You are accountable for the ICT offering & delivery from business requirements management to development and support towards Metsä Fibre business.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Business value creation through efficient ICT operations
• Creating and executing ICT action plans supporting Metsä Fibre business strategy
• Manage and support large scale investment project IT streams
• Take part in innovation management and knowledge sharing across group companies
• Managing business/ICT governance towards Fibre business to ensure full ICT alignment with business' objectives
• Metsä Fibre ICT portfolio, cost planning, and follow-up
• Leading the related ICT account teams
• ICT function development as a part of the Head of ICT team and in cooperation with ICT management

What do we expect from you?

• Capability to communicate with Business top management as well as ICT experts
• Understanding of manufacturing industry and processes
• Excellent collaboration skills and capability to translate business needs into ICT solutions
• Ability to plan and look forward
• ICT-Project and program management experience
• Strong execution power and interest to develop both Group ICT’s internal operations as well as Group Services
• Leadership and teambuilding skills in a matrix organization
• Insight in enterprise and ICT-architecture
• Knowledge of mill IT and/or automation systems is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken Finnish and English

You are a convincing leader with good communication and presentation skills. You adapt to and embrace change and take initiative to constantly develop your work and turn plans into actions and follow through implementations.
