Normet Group has this unique opportunity for a people development professional who is looking for the next career step in the global environment and innovative technology company.

We are looking for a professional with an extensive experience of people development projects in a multicultural environment. As a Head of HR, Learning and Development, you will build and implement core competence structures, definitions and models. You are in charge of designing an on-boarding model and implementing it as an owner of the Learning Module in Workday.  You will lead virtual competence owner  team. We expect you to have a  down to earth –type of developmental mind-set and strong  motivation for people development and engagement with a structured and execution oriented way of working.  You will be a member of Global HR leadership team. The job is located HQ in Espoo, and it requires some travelling.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Build and implement Normet Group Competence Management framework
o   Core competence structure and definitions
o   Competence Assessments
o   Competence Development models
o   Keep the framework alive, develop further and execute needed up-dates
• Build and drive the network of competence area owners 
o   Ensure that all key competences have an owner
o   Lead the virtual competence owner team
o   Follow-up and report the progress of the development in key competence areas
• Design Normet on-boarding model and implement it in Workday
• Own the Learning Module in Workday 
• Have the critical knowledge in general in Workday to be able to back up other HR team members
• Lead and develop virtual competence  team 


• Master level degree in behaviour sciences, engineering, or other relevant field of study 
• Industry background Manufacturing & Engineering company in which Services is/has been in a big role
• 7+ years in HR – both development and operational role 
• Strong knowledge of HRD and Competence Management in an international company
• Capabilities and interest in HRM systems (preferable knowledge of Workday)
• Capability to conceptualize, simplify and see from the end-user perspective
• Excellent co-operation skills with the business leaders
• Team player – willingness to help, take the ball and look outside boundaries
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English
