Zmarta Finland is now looking for a

Head of Electricity (Finland)

to an exciting and fast growing Fintech company in the online comparison business with great ambitions and a vision to become the Money helper empowering its customers to make smarter decisions with their money. As part of this growth, Zmarta Finland is now expanding its business into the field of electricity through Zmarta Group’s recent acquisition of Elskling, Sweden’s and Norway’s leading online comparison platform for electricity. Zmarta Finland now wishes to strengthen its organisation with a driven individual for this exciting new role to help us take over electricity in the Finnish market.

As the Head of Electricity for Zmarta Finland, you will be in charge of building and managing Zmarta Finland’s online comparison business for electricity from the ground up and in accordance with Zmarta Finland’s growth strategy. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to become a pioneer in the field of electricity comparison in Finland.

In this role, you will work closely together with the Country Manager for Finland, with a dotted line to the Elskling management in Sweden. You will take overall responsibility of the implementation and management of the electricity comparison service for Finland and it is your responsibility to ensure smooth functioning of the service in cooperation with other business functions. You will also be part of developing long-term plans for electricity for Zmarta Finland with the support of team Elskling in Stockholm. You will actively cooperate with power companies and organizations within the field of electricity, and you are also expected to closely follow and analyze the market to identify the best practices and opportunities. This independent and evolving role includes an exciting combination of driving day to day operations together with overall strategic planning and execution.

In order for you to succeed in this role, we believe you will meet the following criteria:

  • A good overall understanding of the Finnish electricity market, or alternatively of relevant online market place and benefit services for consumers designed to give added value to customers.
  • Preferably a solid work experience from the field of electricity, such as power companies, or from above described online consumer services.
  • Knowledge of online comparison platforms is a definite advantage.
  • Relevant work experience from a high-paced business environment, together with a strong business mindset with development background.
  • Experience from successfully executing projects such as planning and implementation of new products, services or concepts.
  • Proven track record of negotiation skills on a high level with partners.
  • Fluent spoken and written communication skills in Finnish and preferably good knowledge of English. Skills in Swedish will be of advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and have the ability to proactively drive things forward in accordance with the agreed strategic framework within the Zmarta Group. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you, as does diving hands-on into all required tasks. You are open-minded and analytical as well as comfortable with numbers. In addition, you have the ability to quickly grasp the essentials for building long-term business relations and values. As part of a dedicated Finnish management team you will be expected to constantly do your utmost to exceed expectations, to take pride in your work and utilize your likeable and easy going personality to contribute to our excellent workplace culture.
