Bayer Pharmaceutical Finland is searching for a commercially driven and agile Head of Digital Transformation. In this exciting role you will be responsible for the successful digital transformation and excellence to ensure strong customer engagement, business growth, agility and new capabilities. You will plan, lead and coordinate digital/transformation activities and projects and align them with the respective Business Units and functions. You have both strategic and operational hands-on approach with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. The position holder is a member of the Pharmaceuticals Finland Management team and reports to the Country Division Head. The position is based in Espoo, Keilaniemi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, implement and manage a digital transformation strategy
  • Accelerate business growth by leading/coordinating the creation, management and optimization of digital, creative content and media plans in alignment with Pharmaceuticals Finland business strategy, objectives and brand strategies.
  • Work closely with Business Unit Heads, brand managers and other internal and external stakeholders to recommend optimal on-/off-line channel utilization to an integrated customer engagement model
  • Accountable for the effective project planning, management, reporting and coordination of initiatives in line with business requirements
  • Build business plans and create a technology roadmap in close collaboration with Business Unit Heads and IT.
  • Successfully roll-out and ownership of Veeva CRM system with the purpose to ensure good visibility of holistic data that enable organization to make business decisions accordingly
  • Actively enable, support, and monitor the progress of customer engagement pilots and concepts and their performance against the targets; create meaningful KPIs and targets to ensure customer engagement and business targets will be reached
  • Be the Go-to expert for digital multichannel initiatives across Pharmaceuticals and act as accountable for project owner (operational project manager) in assigned projects.
  • Stay on top of the digital marketing development, and look out for new trends, opportunities and changes.
  • Develop and activate a customer engagement vision; quickly embrace, understand and champion changes in the field of digital marketing; experiment with new innovative technologies to drive our business and digital presence into tomorrow’s marketing and sales environment.
  • Elevate capabilities of the organization regarding integrated multichannel sales and marketing knowledge, digital customer journeys and engagement concepts as well as technologies and platforms.
  • Lead a team of two and manage the IMCM budget.
  • Member of the Pharmaceuticals Finland Management Team; report to the Country Division Head.

 WHO YOU ARE

  • B.Sc. or MSc. degree preferably in business, digital marketing or digital business together with min. 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong strategic and hands on experience in digital media and social media platforms together with an understanding of technologies and their impact on businesses.
  • Strong relevant technical knowledge and expertise: web development, CMS knowledge, web analytics, search engines.
  • Excellent business acumen with a passion for data, measurement and insight to drive business results and to focus on delivering results.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to integrate customer and market insights into prioritized marketing concepts.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and creating digital initiatives to increase customer engagement, awareness and business opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience with the ability to work both with strategic and tactical execution is essential; self-driven, result-oriented, able to get things done in large multi-national organization.
  • Ability to lead, advocate and collaborate across various functions - at all levels.
  • An effective team player with excellent influencing, communication, presentation, networking and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing. Fluency in Finnish is a plus.
  • Passion to work in pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Prior experience is a plus.
