With 50 years of experience in cosmetics and beauty industry, we’ve built a brand based on the quality of our products and our unique viewpoint on beauty; creating skincare and makeup ranges using wild arctic ingredients and state-of-the art extraction processes that bring out natural, luminous beauty.


We are currently looking for a Head of Digital Content responsible for leading the creation and execution of brand related content for consumer-facing campaigns, products, and brand-related elements and working in close cooperation with the brand and markets.

The candidate who will be successful in this role is highly creative with an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of digital content creation and platform execution. At the same time, you have a proven delivery, performance and KPI mind-set.  

Working with the CMO and our agency partners, you will lead the global brand and campaign content creation process from brief, to storyboard.  Ensuring our local & global markets are equipped with best in class digital content that enables Lumene to stand out in the highly competitive beauty space and our highly competitive global markets (Europe, the Nordics, Russia, the US and China).


Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the creation and execution of all centrally created brand campaigns

  • Managing and owning the content agency relationships

  • Managing a small team

  • Set up processes for best practise and delivery of content for the business

  • Ensuring ‘cross-pollination’ of ideas across the central function and markets

  • Collaborating and aligning with stakeholders from the CMO, through to the brand, marketing and country teams to ensure that we strategically grow audience, engagement and value through our content.

  • Driving effective content campaigns around key milestones to ensure growth, setting up and reporting against KPIs both centrally and at a market level.

  • Measuring and reporting results and identifying successes and learnings.

  • Working closely with commercial teams to understand their priorities and ensure content is focussed, while protecting the editorial integrity and impartiality of the Lumene brand

  • Focused on and responsible for the definition of content requirements and the creation of strategies for content delivery to specific target audiences, across multiple channels.

  • Champion the role of content creation in support of the Lumene mission and marketing objectives.


Skills and capabilities:

  • A creative approach and ability to influence and partner in a cross-functional team

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in a related subject (e.g. marketing, digital marketing, digital business)

  • A strong collaborative mindset and can-do approach

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Experience of the beauty industry or FMCG industry preferred

  • Experience of working with different agencies

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Fluency in English and Finnish

  • Fluency in Swedish considered a plus
