Role? Head of Advertising to be the go-to person in any advertising-related matters. Implementing advertising strategy and developing our advertising solution offering, collaborating with our sales teams and media agencies to build advertising solutions and to meet the business targets.
Location? We work in a hybrid way, so you can be based anywhere in Finland! Our office is located just a few steps away from the Helsinki railway station. We’d be happy to meet with you at the office once, twice per month, depending on your schedules.

Responsibilities
As a Head of Advertising, your focus is on enabling the commercial success of our advertising solutions so how our advertising product offering on Tori, Oikotie and Rakentaja looks and develops over time, it’s up to you and to the Scalable Advertising Solutions squad (SAS) to plan and execute it! To do so, you’re the point of contact especially between our sales and media agencies. You make sure that our advertising products are competitive by collecting market insights on customer needs, regulator and privacy requirements, benchmarking our offerings and pricing to competitors, and presenting our new & face-lifted products to our external partners. Internally with our sales, you share your market findings to guide sales in the right direction without forgetting the prioritisation and evaluation of what’s strategically and business-wise important to focus on. Our sales colleagues keep on taking care of our customers but your expertise is needed in growing the advertising revenue by managing the advertising solution portfolio. We like to win it together, thus you also collaborate internally tightly with our marketing, sales operations, product, and tech squads on our way to meeting advertising P&L targets.

You step into a brand new role which means that the responsibilities we’ve drafted above, haven’t been tested in practice. Thus, there might be some surprises ahead and a ‘we’ll find a way’ mindset will surely be needed from you. On the other hand, the unknown offers an opportunity to leave your fingerprint on how our advertising operations are drafted (exciting!)! No worries though, you’re not facing the unknown alone: Kati (your supervisor) and experts from our business verticals are here for you to tackle the future together. During your first six months, we expect you to settle into our community, get to know our advertising product offering, and start building relationships with media agencies. Further down the road, we’re eager to see you managing our advertising solution offering and portfolio in close collaboration with product, tech, marketing and sales squads along with strengthening relationships with media agencies (and remember, we’re here to support you along the way!). What the future holds after that, let’s envision it together!
