We are now looking for a 

GROUP DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER

to join Altia’s logistics team. 

We are looking for a person to take care that our Sales & Operations and Demand Planning processes are run professionally and developed further. You would be working closely together with our sales units to achieve better planning accuracy and optimal inventory levels while maintaining a good service level towards customers. You will also act as “Super User” for our planning system Relex.

As an individual you are results and detail oriented and your working style is proactive. You have strong analytical competence and ability to understand the big picture and total costs. You have good communication and project working skills. You are able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a multicultural environment. 

Key tasks in this job are:

  • Support Altia’s commercial units to improve planning accuracy and inventory levels by analyzing data and creating reports that support decision making

  • Developing ways of working to further improve our processes as well as developing and providing user support and training of our planning tool (Relex)

  • Group Demand Planning & Procurement Planning monthly reporting

  • Demand Planning and S&OP responsibility for chosen sales channels

  • Leading Altia’s Demand Planner network (in matrix)

In order to succeed in this position, you have University degree in the area of Supply Chain/Industrial Management/Economics. You have min 2-3-year relevant working experience in planning/logistics/Supply Chain. Fast moving consumer goods experience is an advantage. You have experience with Relex or other planning system, SAP ERP and Power-Bi and your MS Office skills are on advanced level. You are fluent in both in English and Finnish. Preferred location for this position is in our headquarters in Helsinki.
