We are now looking for a highly motivated
to lead our Global R&D Process Technology organisation and to take the role as a Pilot Plant Manager of our brand-new Pilot Plant in Rajamäki. Your Process Technology organization consists of three R&D teams, two of which in Finland and one in Darmstadt. As a member of the R&D Leadership team you will, together with the Process Technology team leaders and the Production organization, drive the further development and implementation of the R&D Process Technology strategy aimed at further improving our process capabilities as well as capturing the full potential of the new Pilot Plant. You will report in this role to the Global R&D Director. The position is new, permanent, and located in Rajamäki, Finland, while regular traveling to Darmstadt is also critical to develop ONE global Process Technology team.
We require from you a PhD degree or a Master's degree in (bio-)process engineering, biotechnology or related technology/engineering fields. You have substantial work experience in a leading role in (bio-)process engineering preferably in industry. We expect you to have a profound understanding of biotechnological production processes: Fermentation, Down Stream Processing and Formulation, most preferably in enzyme production. You are a strategic thinker with strong implementation skills. You are an experienced leader, self-motivated, with a proven track record in building strong teams, driving continuous development and delivering results. You are a true team player and a clear communicator, both technical and non-technical as well as being fluent in English language (Finnish and German language skills are certainly a plus.)
