We are looking for a creative, social and commercially driven
GLOBAL INFLUENCER RELATIONS MANAGER
to join our vibrant PR and Community team at Marimekko´s HQ in Helsinki.
As our Global Influencer Relations Manager your main responsibility is to lead and develop Marimekko’s global Influencer Marketing and Social Community Strategy to support the company’s overall strategy. Trough influencer´s own channel´s and Marimekko´s channel mix you develop the brand image as well as ensure increased global brand awareness by planning and executing seasonal influencer activations based on global marketing campaigns.
This is a full-time fixed-term position from June 2023 to June 2024 in which you will report to Marimekko’s Head of PR and Community.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop Marimekko’s global influencer strategy and lead the implementation of the strategy, guidelines, ways of working and practices locally in key markets to support company’s overall strategy
- Responsible for planning and executing seasonal influencer activations based on global marketing campaigns and key PR moments
- Identify, build, and foster relationships with key opinion leaders, creators and other people of influence
- Responsible for global influencer negotiations and contract management
- Lead the process of creating influencer generated content to engage the social community, build loyal fans and spread positive sentiments
- Direct local managers and PR agencies to drive influencer marketing based on global marketing plan in paid and earned influencer visibility
- Day-to-day support of Social Community Assistant & Social Community & Production Intern together with team lead and Global Social Media Manager
- Responsible for frequent influencer reporting
- Budget responsibility
In order to succeed in the role, you have:
- Relevant educational background (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Marketing, Brand Management or Communication
- At least 4 years of experience within international influencer marketing
- A results-driven and commercial mindset
- Great relationship building skills
- Fluency In English, both verbal and written
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
