Global HR Manager, Flow Control business line
We are looking for a Global HR Manager to support our business line management in Flow Control. You will work closely with the Business Unit heads and their management teams, with Products & Solutions function management, with the Flow Control Global HR Network and Valmet HR Organization overall. You will work in close collaboration with the VP, Flow Control Human Resources in translating business needs into people priorities and strategies on topics like succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, performance management or employee relations.
Valmet’s Flow Control Business Line is one of the leading providers of mission-critical flow control solutions and services for process industries. We employ about 2,700 people in approximately 40 countries. With our global team of experts and innovative solutions, we help our customers to improve their process performance and ensure the safe flow of materials.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Ensuring business line’s global Talent management processes (key recruitments, competence and talent development initiatives, successor planning etc.)
- Supporting the organization in various capability development and transformation projects
- Guiding and supporting Management teams and managers
- Close cooperation with HR managers in FC locations globally (Global FC HR Network) and with Valmet Corporate HR teams
- Communicating HR topics to business together with the BL’s VP, HR
- Supporting business leaders in Annual review processes, global compensation and benefits processes, Our Voice- and other facilitations etc.
- Preparing and developing business line’s HR reporting and analytics
We except you to have
- 5-7 years of experience in HR in an international/intercultural environment; including operative HR tasks
- High level of influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of problem solving and decision-making skills in a demanding matrix environment
- Pro-activeness in identifying business needs and translating them into HR actions
- Overall understanding of competence development processes in general
- Efficient cooperation with operative HR and HR network overall
- Fluency in English
