Future 2025 - Controller

Future 2025 is Orion’s corporate wide program reporting to CEO and planned for years 2021-2023. It aims to transform business processes and the ways of working at Orion. The program is supported by the implementation of new IT systems and tools including a full renewal of the current ERP. As a result, we aim to increase productivity, to have better end-to-end transparency and to become a data driven company.

We are looking for a Controller to participate in an SAP S/4 HANA implementation project.

Description of position

Finance project team covers both Financial Accounting and Management Accounting processes as well as Management Reporting. Your focus area will be Management Accounting processes and Management reporting, and you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in this area.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Work as a process expert in the Management Accounting process
• Active participation in the future process design as a part of the team
• Independently lead separately identified sub-projects
• Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities in your own area
• Creation of project documentation including process descriptions, guidelines, and test cases
• Plan and execute key user / end user training
• Execute testing of processes and tools to ensure requirements are met
• Work in close co-operation with the implementation partner and various Orion stakeholders

In this role you will be part of Future 2025 Program organization and report to Riitta Korpi, Process Lead, Management Accounting. This position is a temporary maternity leave substitution until the end of 2023. You can join the project as soon as possible or latest 15th of August.

This position is located in Espoo, Finland.

Description of the unit

You will be working in the Future 2025 Program organization that consists of multitalented professionals from Orion and from the implementation partner Infosys. The team work together cross-organizationally to ensure smooth transition and the program goals are achieved. Requirements

Ideally, you should have the following professional work experiences:

• Master’s or other relevant degree in Finance, Engineering or similar
• Few years of professional experience from Controlling or Finance
• Comprehensive understanding and experience of Controlling processes and Management Reporting
• Strong analytical, co-operation and communication skills
• Previous experience of development projects, planning and automation of processes and/or standardization of work
• Ability to work under pressure and keep timelines
• Experience from SAP, BW (and SAC) is seen as an advantage
• Fluency in English and Finnish (verbal and written)

We also take into account new talents with less work experience but high motivation. We are looking for an active team player with can-do attitude. S/4 HANA implementation project Global Design Phase will start in June, so you will jump into middle of the most important phase of the project.
