We are now looking for finnish speaking Electrical Engineer/ Project Manager to join our client’s Abo Wind`s international team in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Abo Wind is the leading and international project development company for energy supply systems from renewable energy sources (wind, solar and biomass). Abo Wind also develops solar projects and offers EPC services. Abo Wind`s net sales in 2017 were approximately EUR 122 million and it employed about 500 professionals around the world. Abo Wind`s head office is in Wiesbaden, Germany.


As an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, you will work closely with Finnish clients to learn user needs, and collaborate with other stakeholders. Main responsibilities include developing of grid connection solutions for wind farms and solar parks in Finland. Liaison between the Company and the customer for technical issues, planning of communication, protection technology and SCADA are part of the job role. Furthermore Company’s developing and other liabilities can be included.

What you need:

  •  Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering
  •  Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience associated common industry sectors, especially wind power/generation
  •  Basic knowledge of design systems
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English, German language skills are an  advantage
  •  Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  •  Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
  •  Ability to quickly familiarize with laws, regulations and technical guidelines is necessary.
