Frictape is now looking for a Financial Controller to work as their CEO’s right-hand and to independently take the overall responsibility of Frictape’s financial processes and tasks. As a Financial Controller at Frictape your tasks include for example bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting. You’ll be coordinating bookkeeping and accounting tasks with outsourced accountants, taking care of invoicing and accounts receivables, checking through purchase invoices and accounts payables and consolidating financial statements from multinational entities. Your tasks also include taking care of customer and supplier approval and registration processes, reporting consolidated statements to the mother company in Sweden on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis and making internal reports to support management decisions. As a Financial Controller you are also responsible for Estonian and Brazilian entities reporting.
An ideal candidate for Frictape would be a precise person with fluent English skills and capability of working independently. An ideal candidate would also already have understanding of accounting (international) and earlier experience (2-5 years) from a similar role. The most important thing to Frictape is however your flexible attitude, high motivation and ability to learn and adjust on the go. Frictape also hopes that you are able to start working as soon as possible. In this position you have the possibility to work remotely from time to time, but you'll need to be able to commute to Frictape’s offices in Klaukkala and Estonia every now and then.

Frictape requires you to:
Have relevant study background, such as a Bsc or Msc in Accounting/Finance
Have at least 2-5 years of working experience from a similar role
Have understanding of International Accounting, specifically of IFRS
Have good command of Excel
Be able to work efficiently, systematically and independently
Have flexible attitude and ability to adjust on the go
Be fully proficient in English
Frictape considers as an asset:
Earlier experience of Procountor and / or Cognos reporting
Understanding of Brazilian tax and accounting
Portuguese language skills
