Currently we are looking for a candidate who will join our factory in the Hämeenlinna as a:

Financial and Administration Controller 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering for the CANPACK Finland Management in area of Controlling and Tax by providing value-added information to different areas in order to support decision making process.
  • Serving as a point of contact in all matters related to Treasury, Controlling, Accounting & Consolidation issues related to operational activities of a company,
  • Ensuring the operating budget control, including spend/cost control, verification of contracts/agreements, the monthly and quarterly variance analysis,
  • Controlling the budget (for both CAPEX and OPEX part) and ensuring that Group Policies and Finnish Tax Laws are followed in this regard,                        ,
  • Coordination and preparation of the annual financial plans, implementing yearly budget control model in the required format; responsibility for timely delivery of annual budget and financial plan; direct collaboration with Group Controlling team
  • Guarantee operational treasury management, including ST and MLT liquidity through proper cash flow planning,
  • Ongoing management of CANPACK Finland balance sheet by understanding deeply the financial statement prepared by in house accounting team located outside Finland or outsourced third parties for tax area.
  • Controlling all financial statements prepared in accordance with Local, Tax and Group accounting standards following strictly the required reporting deadlines, direct collaboration with the Group Accounting and Consolidation team.
  • Prepare local reporting.
  • Co-operating with accounting function either outsourced or in-house.
  • Coordination, administration and reporting of other tasks like for instance insurance and risk related.

Our expectations:

  • Applicable education in financial branch.
  • Several years’ experience in a similar role within industrial environment,
  • Professional qualifications and/or certificates will be an asset,
  • Knowledge of Finnish tax system will be a required,
  • Fluency in Finnish and English is required
  • Strong skills with MS Office and ERP system (SAP familiarity beneficial),
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Strong business acumen and ability to challenge status quo,
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively across the whole organization.
