Together with their partners they provide impartial advice on any financial situation related to funding the business growth, materialising ownership changes, strengthening of balance sheet or moments of financial distress. When appropriate, they, together with their partners make direct investments in different forms of capital. These investment decisions require a solid analysis of the business and its financials.
Linnea Capital is now looking for a part time Financial Analyst for a permanent position. Currently Linnea Capital focuses on acting as a professional investor and financial advisor to small and medium-sized industrial companies. The main focus of the company is to create value for its customers by developing financing and capital structures, critically evaluating business plans and making economic models based on them with various alternative financing and capitalization instruments.
As a Financial Analyst your main contribution will be to bring expertise in analyzing and modeling financial statements, including forecasts for the balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statements. In this role you will work closely with the entrepreneur, but since the company is small, we expect you to have the ability to work and solve things independently. In addition you will have a significant role in the evaluation of customers' business plans and the determination of their financial impact. In this position you will also work with clients and prepare presentations for them, so we hope that you have the ability and courage to justify your choices and views to others.

We expect you to have:
A relevant educational background (e.g. finance, accounting)
Relevant work experience in finance or accounting (+1-2 years, e.g. through a summer job, an internship)
Expertise in analyzing and modeling financial statements
An analytical and number-oriented mindset with strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Self-directed and proactive approach to work
Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and verbal
