We are now looking for a skilled and self-driven Finance Specialist located in Oulu for Arctic Security. The position is fixed-term (6 months), but there is an option of continuation.
Arctic Security is a change agent, a disruptor in cybersecurity with a mission to help people defend their assets. We work behind the scenes, but our services protect millions of people and thousands of companies every day.
As a Finance Specialist your key responsibilities include various finance related tasks of a growth company:
- preparing sales invoices to our international customers, creating sales and revenue related reports for internal use and preparing commission calculations
- supporting accounting office in Finland as well as the finance teams abroad
- ensuring purchase invoices and expense claims are properly handled and timely paid
- participating in budgeting and forecasting
- developing finance processes together with COO
We offer you an interesting opportunity to utilize and develop your professional skills in an international business environment. You will be a part of a talented and devoted company composed of international experts with extensive knowledge and experience in working in the cybersecurity industry. You get to contribute in and to collaborate on financial planning, budgeting and expanding Arctic’s SaaS business on the hot cybersecurity topic to new customers, markets, partners and channels abroad. The position is located at our headquarters in Oulu, but we are working with a hybrid model. The employment contract will be signed with Barona and the starting date will be latest at the middle of the May.
We expect you to have previous experience in accounting and other finance related tasks. You have a good understanding of accounting, revenue recognition and balance sheets. Previous knowledge of the payroll process is considered as an advantage. As a person, you are precise and not afraid of routine tasks, but also ready to bring in ideas for improvement. You can conduct your work independently in a proactive way. You can work fluently in Finnish and in English. You like to work with Excel, adapt well to different software programs and don't mind using Apple devices.
