Finance Manager

Aibidia is looking for a business-minded Finance Manager to ensure necessary financial procedures are executed to the highest standards. You will be an integral part of Aibidia’s Helsinki-based Operations team and work closely with the VP Finance & Operations. Aibidia today has close to 60 employees with 15 nationalities, including high-level sales, tax, legal and technology experts.

As a Finance Manager, you will have both recurring financial admin tasks as well as analytical development responsibilities. Therefore, key qualifications are attention to detail and tolerance of admin work as well as business-sense and development-oriented working style.

The recurring tasks include:

• Billing, AR and Revenue Recognition

• AP, monthly closing & ensuring accounting data is high quality (we try very hard to enable data-driven decision making so having correct accruals & releases as well as having transactions in correct cost centers & accounts is necessary)

• Owning the accounting relationship in HQ and subsidiaries

• Group consolidation

• Participating in annual closing, audits, statutory reporting

On top of these tasks your input in developing the financial procedures will be highly valued - aiming for automation whenever possible. This can include rebuilding tools, spreadsheets and reports as well as Finance Systems implementation support. You will also be a contact person with the outsourced accountants and help with incorporating new subsidiaries, such as setting up processes with accounting service providers and opening bank accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, or equivalent

• Preferably a few years experience in financial management - the responsibilities can be altered to fit your level of experience. Experience in accounting and consolidation is seen as an advantage.

• Ability to quickly understand Aibidia’s business and financial landscape

• Great Google Sheets & MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Other technical and data management skills are seen as assets (e.g. SQL).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Curious, always looking for ways to improve and automate

• Comfortable with an international and performance-driven team environment

• Willing to commute to our Helsinki office at least ~3 times a week
