Finance Manager, Helsinki 

We are now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to the Europe entities based in Helsinki, Finland office. In this role you will be part of Group Finance team and work closely with finance and business to achieve our long term growth by maintaining company financial health in terms of profitability and cashflow to our Management Team and Business Leaders.

 In this role you will work and report to Head of Finance in financial accounting and analysis, but also budgeting and forecast, treasury management and tax management.
 

Job Description

Accounting Management & Process and Internal Control

  • Liaise with external accounting advisory and monthly review of reporting package to ensure compliance to local and international accounting standard
  • Maintain company financial health, monthly financial analysis review and report to management
  • Conduct review and evaluations on cost and expense savings opportunity, liaise and execute with procurement
  • Standardize finance processes across Europe entities and enable key control point implementation and execution
  • Liaise with external auditor to complete the entities external audit completion

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual company budgeting and planning of balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow
  • Manage budget execution within framework by different functions
  • Quarterly forecast and consolidate from business controller on revenue and profit estimate to report to Group Controller

Treasury Management

  • Review and monitor cash balances and cash flow forecast on weekly basis
  • Responsible as final approver in payable process to ensure compliance and within budget
  • Set up new bank and facilities for new subsidiaries incorporated
  • Liaise with bankers for banking related matters transactions compliance

Tax management

  • Prepare and review of different entities GST, WHT and annual CIT filing
  • Review of business models to set up the transfer pricing model and intercompany service agreement
  • Liaise with tax officers and tax agents for tax related matter

Others

  • Arrange for new subsidiary set up (when it’s applicable)


What we are looking for?

  • 10 years of work experience from financial accounting management or similar role
  • Experience in MNC across Europe and familiar with transfer pricing model and different countries taxation regulation
  • Ability to "crunch the numbers" - strong logical thinking skills are a must
  • Excellent skills in Excel
  • Curiosity and strong "can do" attitude
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills in English
  • Willing to travel for business when necessary
