Finance Director

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Finance Director to join our team in Vahterus. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and planning for our group, ensuring that our growth objectives and operational needs are financially supported. You will play a key role in implementing our strategy from a financial perspective and will participate in business decisions based on financial analysis and forecasting. In this role, you will lead the finance department and report directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and budget monitoring for the group.

• Lead and develop financial reporting to ensure data accuracy and timeliness, analyze variances, and prepare forecasts.

• Monitor and secure cash flow and funding for daily operations and investments.

• Oversee external financing acquisition and internal investment management.

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, assess and manage risks.

• Responsible for the company’s CSRD reporting.

• Lead and develop the finance department and coordinate financial activities of the group’s subsidiaries.

We expect from you:

• A university or advanced degree in finance or a related field.

• Deep understanding of financial management, accounting, taxation, and financial markets.

• Fluent in Finnish and English.

• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills. Previous experience in working in management team is considered an asset.

• Strong experience in international business and corporate structures. Previous experience in the technology industry is considered an advantage.
